SECNAP Network Security Expands Channel Partner NetworkNew Partners Delta, Fortress, Future Com, QA Systems and SLPowers To Offer Email Security Gateway Powered By SpammerTrap
Boca Raton, Fla., Nov. 13, 2008 – SECNAP® Network Security has formed strategic channel partnerships with five additional security solutions providers: Delta Wireless & Network Solutions, Fortress Network Security, Future Com Ltd., QA Systems, and SLPowers. As partners, these value-added resellers will be offering the Email Security Gateway Powered by SpammerTrap®, an award-winning line of appliance-based and hosted spam filters from SECNAP. While different factors prompted each to consider the innovative SECNAP email security solution, all agree that the product is indeed "The King of Spam Filters," as acclaimed by SC Magazine in a review earlier this year. That review also awarded the SECNAP spam solution five stars for ease of use, customer support and documentation. SLPowers came to SECNAP at the urging of a client. "One of our top customers had been using the SpammerTrap email security solution," said Bob Hochmuth, vice president of information technology for SLPowers. "He was so enthusiastic about its performance that we finally had to try it for ourselves. Like him, we were highly impressed with the results. We decided that we needed to offer the SpammerTrap to all of our clients." Not long ago, the Georgia.zip began plaguing many organizations, including clients of Delta Wireless & Network Solutions. When Delta learned that the Email Security Gateway Powered by SpammerTrap was stopping the virus in its tracks, they contacted SECNAP. "We couldn't be happier with the results," said Ken Burns, information technology manager for Delta, "and they were almost immediate." Fortress was interested in a hosted service, which SECNAP offers in addition to its extensive line of scalable appliances. "We conducted an evaluation of the Hosted SpammerTrap solution, and were really pleased with the results," said Lance Hillman, vice president of Fortress Network Security. "We're delighted to be able to offer this world-class spam filter to our clients." Both QA Systems and Future Com echo these observations. As Mark Williamson, chief operating officer for Future Com, summed it up, "Between their award-winning SpammerTrap spam filter, technological savvy, and robust channel support, SECNAP has laid the groundwork for great shared success." Offered exclusively through the SECNAP channel partner network, the Email Security Gateway Powered by SpammerTrap was named "Best in Anti-Spam" by Network Products Guide in July and "BuzzWorthy Product" by Everything Channel in August.
