SECNAP® Network Security Corporation, a leading provider of network and email security solutions, announced that an interview with its vice president of sales and marketing, Jim Garrity, appeared in the January 22 issue of e-publication ConnectIT.

Garrity is an information technology channel veteran with more than a dozen years' experience in distribution and reseller organizations. Since joining SECNAP in October 2008, he has assumed responsibility for the company's award-winning network security product suite and email security solutions, which are offered exclusively through the channel.

The ConnectIT article discusses the Email Security Gateway Powered by SpammerTrap®, SECNAP's flagship product. According to Garrity, the next generation of SpammerTrap email security solutions offer a unique combination of features and benefits that include anti-spam, anti-virus, anti-malware and more in one box.

"SpammerTrap is a direct result of our customers telling us that their current anti-spam solutions...were not keeping up with the advancing attacks of today," said Garrity. He added that VARs will be able to provide their customers with a more accurate and easy to manage email security solution.

SECNAP is offering an aggressive SpammerTrap sales promotion for the first quarter of 2009. Customers will receive a credit of $995, representing up to a full year of support, when they purchase a SpammerTrap during the free 30-day trial period.
