Security Health Check

The Network Security Health Check provides a snapshot of an organization's overall security program. The assessment includes perimeter, internal systems, data backup and patch management, and leverages best security practices as well as our expertise and broad-based knowledge of the security industry.

Primary elements of the Health Check are:

  • Preliminary conference call with key personnel to discuss concerns and goals, and overview the plan.
  • Evaluation of existing technology and security environment including Internet connectivity, network layout, and current security processes.
  • Testing of external and internal security resources such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, password levels, file access rights, and virus protection and Internet usage monitoring systems.
  • Analysis of information gathered during testing and identification of significant issues based on decades of security experience.
  • Delivery of comprehensive final report, including executive summary, detailed report, and supporting documentation.
  • Executive-level summary highlights key findings and provides non-technical security evaluation.
  • Detailed report describes all vulnerabilities identified, including threat, level of risk, and appropriate mitigation recommendations.
  • Report is supplemented by raw data from the various tests and scans.
