SpammerTrap OS Upgraded, Reports Enhanced

The latest series of enhancements for all SpammerTrap solutions include an upgrade of the SpammerTrap operating system, and enhancements to heuristics and learning functionality, mail storage, and SpammerTrap reports, as described below:

• Spam filtering results have been reformatted with an updated look and improved report readability, along with several new metrics charts.  For a sample, please click on the PDF button at right.
• Company and Domain administrator accounts are now supported.
• New functionality enables Domains to be grouped together for easier segmentation of business units, such as divisions, as well as organizations. (For VARs, this supports groupings of customers as well, such as hosted clients.)
• The webdev learning folder has been upgraded to EWS. Note:  IMAP is still supported for older versions of Exchange and other mail servers that use shared IMAP folders.
• Also new, three (3) days of inbound CLEAN email as well as quarantined email will be stored, and storage will leverage four times more disk space than previously.
• A zero-day heuristics scanner has been implemented to further enhance the ability to trap specific malware, phishing emails, and hidden attachments.
• As a result of the new scanner and new 64-bit OS, system performance improvements may be noticeable as well.
