Email is the Most Common Point of Entry

SECNAP Email Security offers full inbox protection and helps increase it at the network level. Our clients maintain a high level of security and email continuity with the perk of saving significant human and network resources.  According to the Verizon Data Breach Report, 94% of malware is delivered by email.  Once malware is in introduced and once the foothold is gained, additional malware can be downloaded, encoded to bypass detection and installed directly.

Aside from malware, phishing is also a common factor in breaches.  Often an email that is perfectly clean can contain a link to a phony website that prompts the user to enter their actual credentials.  This mistake can provide cybercriminals access to systems that contain confidential data, private financial information and access to settings that can cause a world of trouble for your IT team.  Dark Web Monitoring is often a good idea to see if employee credentials have already been leaked onto the dark web.

Incoming Email Filtering

Email continuity & protection from spam, virus, ransomware, phishing, malware. Email filtering separates legitimate email from unsolicited bulk email with the help of advanced algorithms and spam pattern detection methods. SECNAP Email Security offers full inbox protection and helps increase it at the network level. Outgoing Email Filtering

Get maximum control, email continuity, free up human and network resources while keeping your network free of outbound spam and IP addresses away from blacklists.  Aside from abuse management, it also prevents spam from being unknowingly sent out of your network through a compromised account or script. You can protect your entire network by monitoring all outgoing email traffic, identifying and locking down compromised user accounts.

Email Archiving

Robust encrypted email archiving to help prevent data loss and improve legal compliance. Email Archiving refers to storing electronic mail communication. The email archiving service is available for both, Local and Hosted Cloud products. Local Cloud is a managed software installed directly on your own (optionally virtual) hardware; Hosted Cloud is the highly redundant email security cloud maintained by SECNAP.

Inbound Filtering

SECNAPs incoming spam filter is a gateway solution. Activation is outstandingly easy and goes via one of the various web hosting plugins freely available, or via a simple DNS adjustment. Once the MX-records are changed, all inbound email goes to the SECNAP system first, where it is filtered and then relayed to the unchanged destination mail servers.

Outbound Filtering

To archive outbound emails via SECNAP, an administrator needs to redirect the outbound email traffic to SECNAP system. This can be done by either configuring the mail server to use SECNAP’s archiving system as a smart host (thus, the entire mail server or only some of the domains will be archived), or by reconfiguring the settings (only selected users will be archived).
